Terms & Conditions, Policies and Procedures
By enrolling a child with MK DANCE, the parent or carer confirms that they have read, understood and agree to the following Terms & Conditions and policies.
1. Enrolment
Enrolment is completed through the MK DANCE online booking system.
A child’s place is confirmed once registration has been completed and payment has been received.
Parents and carers are responsible for ensuring that all information provided during registration, including contact, emergency and medical information, remains accurate and up to date.
2. Fees and Payment
Fees are charged on a half-termly basis unless otherwise stated and must be paid by the published deadline.
Fees reserve the child’s place in the class and are payable regardless of attendance.
Failure to pay by the deadline may result in the child’s place being suspended or withdrawn until all outstanding fees have been paid.
MK DANCE reserves the right to refuse attendance where fees remain outstanding.
3. Online Cancellation Rights and Withdrawal
Where a booking is made online, parents and carers retain any statutory cancellation rights that apply.
Parents wishing to withdraw a child should notify MK DANCE as soon as possible.
Payment confirms and reserves the dancer’s place for the full half term. Fees are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be credited where a dancer misses classes or withdraws for personal reasons. This does not affect statutory rights.
4. Missed Classes
Classes missed by a dancer are not refunded, credited, transferred or carried forward.
This includes absence caused by illness, holidays, school events, examinations, family commitments, transport difficulties or other personal circumstances.
MK DANCE is not required to offer replacement or catch-up classes for sessions missed by a dancer.
5. Classes Cancelled by MK DANCE
Where MK DANCE cancels a class, a reasonable replacement class or alternative arrangement will normally be offered.
If no reasonable replacement or alternative can be provided, an appropriate credit for future classes will be given.
MK DANCE is not responsible for disruption caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, venue closure, power failure, public health restrictions or emergencies. MK DANCE will nevertheless act reasonably and comply with parents’ statutory rights.
6. Attendance
Regular attendance is encouraged to support dancers’ progress, confidence and understanding of choreography.
Parents should notify MK DANCE where possible if their child will be absent.
Attendance, commitment, behaviour, teamwork, reliability and attitude may be considered when allocating competition places, performance opportunities, featured roles, solos, duets, trios and awards.

Serious behaviour that places somebody at risk may result in immediate removal from the class or activity.
10. Parent and Carer Conduct
Parents and carers are expected to communicate respectfully with MK DANCE staff, dancers, volunteers and other families.
Abusive, threatening, discriminatory, harassing or intimidating behaviour will not be tolerated in person, by telephone, through messages or online.
